Master of Accountancy

The Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree prepares professional accountants to fill high-level positions in accounting firms and business enterprises. Program length is approximately one year of full-time study for the typical BBA graduate with an accounting major.

Master of Business Administration

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree prepares individuals for the responsibilities of management in a wide variety of business and nonbusiness endeavors. Program length is approximately one year of full-time study for a student with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Online MBA

The Online Master of Business Administration, MBA degree will develop the analytical, technology, and communications skills you need to advance beyond any plateau in your career and improve your earning potential.  The online Master of Business Administration program is fully accredited by AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

Engineering 5-Year MBA

The 5-Year MBA provides students enrolled in the Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering BS programs with the possibility of completing an MBA in a fifth year of study.  Students can complete the MBA foundation courses during their senior year and apply to the MBA program upon completion of 96 hours at the undergraduate level. 

Electrical engineering students who have completed 96 credit hours toward the Electrical Engineering B.S. degree and earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher may elect the MBA option in senior year. Students who elect the MBA option are required to take three MBA foundation courses to satisfy the Technical Elective Block requirements:

 

ACCT 5312 - Foundations of Accounting 3 sem. hrs.

ECON 5311 - Foundations of Economics 3 sem. hrs.

FINA 5311 - Financial Management Concepts 3 sem. hrs.

 

Students who plan to elect the MBA Option are encouraged to have summer internship experience before senior year, and will be able to complete an MBA degree study with 2 regular semesters and 1 summer session beyond an Electrical Engineering B.S. degree study.

Mechanical engineering students who have completed 96 credit hours toward the Mechanical Engineering B.S. degree and earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher may elect the MBA option in senior year. To satisfy the Technical Elective Block requirements, students who elect the MBA option are required to take (a) any upper division 3-credit hour math/physics/chemistry/biology course (MATH 3342 Probability and Statistics preferred) and (b) three MBA foundation courses:
